The sending mentality
I don't usually put too much pressure on myself to send but today was different, I wanted this tick, I needed this tick. The pressure was most definitely on, the pressure that most climbers are familiar with. The desire to send juxtaposed by the need to remain mentally calm and composed. read more
Ending projects
Kilian got 'Airstar' on Thursday afternoon, a fantastic achievement as this has been a long standing projects attempted by some of the strongest climbers Rocklands has seen. Amy witnessed it, she said that she thought for sure Kilian was going to fly off the small flake but unbelieveably he held on, what a great thing to have witnessed! read more
Just another weekend in Rocklands
Later Marijus and Adam returned from The Fortress with news that Adam had successfully flashed The Vice, 8B and Armed Response, 8B. This is perhaps the first time that someone has successfully flashed 2 8B's in one day! Just to prove what a superb climber he really is he then went and flashed Out of Balance 8A, Pendragon 8A and Oral Office 8A+. read more
I got Rockstocked
This weekend, the Depakhuys guest farm played host to Rockstock 3 . Over 100 climbers turned out to celebrate the 2009 climbing season. read more
