Clanwilliam is situated 220km's north east of Cape Town at the foot of the Cederberg mountain range. It is the closest town to Rocklands (approximately 25 to 45 minutes drive, depending which climbing area you are at) and an integral part of your visit.

Clanwilliam has a number of supermarkets from which to choose, however the Spar Parade provides the most complete grocery shopping experience. read more

Internet access in South Africa is very expensive and unless you have access to reliable broadband can be very slow too. In Clanwilliam there is reliable WiFi access at the Spar Parade but you will need your own laptop and you will pay per Mb of usage. Alternatives may be considerably slower and pricing will be based on time spent online.
